And, like many Frenchmen, he thinks himself slightly superior to others. These qualities sometimes put people off, although he is rather easygoing and never bears a grudge. At heart, though, Jean-Pierre is a good man. He dearly loves his girlfriend, Michelle, even though he sometimes flirts with other women (although often it is more a case of keeping other woman away from him).
