Background

Wong Yao was the most ambitious of his small clique of nerdy friends. He had the chance once to see The Immortals in action catching someone in Peking. And, in a world where superheroes had fame, fortune, and glory, he knew what he wanted to be. He wanted to be the brightest stars among all the stars in the People's Republic. Yao knew that he was smart and one day, he'd get a chance at it. It might be his singular chance, and he wasn't going to let it pass by.

The chance came just three months into his job at a Security Systems Analysis firm. Analyzing tape, he found what might be one of the most important secrets in the country. He re-analyzed a sequence from a hidden camera again and again through several filters already in the software, and three filters that he created during the analysis. The startling conclusion was that Snake of the Immortals was also Red Censor of the secret government team known as the Gang of Five. After snooping around he determined that no one in the Immortals knew of the connection and neither did anyone in the Gang of Five. There were only two people that knew the secret now and Yao was one of them.

He contacted Snake, had dinner with her, and revealed his knowledge. After nearly being killed on the spot, he reminded her that if he died her information will get released both to the press in the People's Republic and to the world press.

So, instead of getting killed by the mentalist, Yao informed her of the mission that she was to carry out for him - to steal the plans of the Southern Cross Powersuit from Southern Cross International.

Three months later, he and his friends had completed the Red Dragon power suit and started the Four Winds Dragons team.

Personality
If not the 'brains' behind the team, Yao is the impetus. The others look up to him. He's more than just the oldest member of their group, he's a nerd that made it big time. He is driven to make the Four Winds Dragons into the premier team of China, above the Immortals and even above the Gang of Five.

Powers

The Red Dragon Powered Armor Suit is a copy of the Powered Southern Cross suit. Much like the orginal, it is designed around advanced electromagnetics that provide defenses, mobility, and firepower. However, the Red Dragon Suit is of inferior quality to the original.

Appearance

The Red Dragon Powered Suit looks a lot like the Southern Cross Power Suit, except it is painted red and has a stylized emblem of a red Chinese dragon on the chest. The helmet, wrist bands and belt are painted yellow. As with the original, the helmet allows his lower face to be exposed, but when needed, a clear screen extends to provide a completely sealed system.
