Elaine is the sister of the French super-hero Armstrong. When he became a cyborg, Armstrong felt that he should concentrate more of his energies to that instead of running the company that their father founded: L’Estrie Industries. Armstrong turned the company over to his sister Elaine. Since taking control of L’Estrie Industries Elaine has turned the company totally around. Before her it was primarily a research and development firm, but with Elaine at the helm the company has branched out into production of highly sought after electronics. L’Estrie Industries is now one of the leading electronics manufactures in France. And it is all through the tough business management of Elaine L’Estrie.

There is no tougher business woman in all of France that Elaine L’Estrie. She has had to compete in a world of men, and not only has she survived, but she has thrived in that environment. The stress of course has had effects on her. Elaine is known for her temper. She fired one executive once because he got her coffee order wrong.

Elaine is also bitter that her son looks more to her brother than to her. She feels that Armstrong has abandoned the company. Elaine also doesn’t like Doctor Fred Alliot-Marie. She was extremely happy when they broke up.

Elaine is the head of L’Estrie Industries, one of the largest electronic manufactures in France. Her business savvy is second to none in France. Unlike some CEO’s, Elaine is well versed in the field that her company is in.
