EMPIRE

The remnants of the Empire Club, originally a teenage team of superheroes, forged themselves into a colder, more extreme team of British patriots known as Empire. They targeted enemies of England, which were initially seen as acts of heroism but quickly deteriorated into acts of terrorism against minorities and those who would speak out against the establishment or the monarchy.

Empire has spread its battles across the former British Empire and attempts to destroy anything which hinders the potential rise of a new Empire. The team had a pure goal in mind at its genesis, but has accepted less noble members into its ranks so it is now little more than a terrorist group addicted to bringing about chaos in the name of keeping Britain British.

Area of Operations

While maintaining its presence in the United Kingdom for most of the year, the entire team, or smaller parts, have been known to travel around to former members of the British Empire, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many countries in Africa, in order to destabilise the existing governments. The idea is to weaken the independence of these countries and strengthen the ties to England.

Goals

Lady Lancelot and Big Ben want to see the British Empire return. They believe that the world was a safer, more intelligent and cultured place when Britain ruled the majority of the world. Other members of the team are simply in it for fun and to enjoy the company of like-minded sociopaths.

The goal is to destabilise the independence of former colonies so that they will return to the Empire, as well as keeping the United Kingdom a pure place from which to base a new Empire.

Reputation

Empire enjoys a divided reputation. Some people agree with the idea of bringing back the British Empire, while others see their actions as nothing short of terrorism. The United Kingdom is fully aware of the team, and the major members of the Commonwealth are also aware, and often bare the brunt of any offshore attacks.
