| Background | |||||||
| Five Pillars was founded by the Qatari super-hero Iron Amir. During his career opposing Fatwa around the Middle East, Iron Amir encountered several uber-humans. A few of them he rescued from their fundamentalist countries. Roc was the first Uber that he rescued after gaining reports of an Uber-human who was being studied in Iran. Iron Amir flew to Iran and found where Roc was being held an freed him. Roc returned to Qatar and aided Iron Amir in his endeavors. The next recruit was Saluqi. He was a young boy from war torn Beirut whose abilities Fatwa decided would be fine addition to their group. A trap was laid, and Saluqi fell into it. If it wasn’t for Iron Amir interfering he’d be in their clutches. Again in Egypt, Fatwa took interest in a telepath and tried to take her captive. Iron Amir was attending the homecoming party that was being thrown for the Veil as the woman was later to call herself. Together the two chased Fatwa out of Egypt. When Iron Amir formed Five Pillars, he offered a place for the Veil as well. In Manama, Fatwa decided to take the king of Bahrain captive, but again Iron Amir was in attendance at a performance of a magician for the king. The magician turned out to be Pearl and the two of them thwarted Fatwa. From these five Uber-humans, Five Pillars were formed. Five Pillars refers to the five pillars of faith of the Islamic faith. While none of the members of Five Pillars are extremely religious, they stand to protect the Middle East from extremists and fundamentalists. Each of the members of Five Pillars are close friends. Iron Amir is seen as the leader of the group and to a degree a father figure to Saluqi. He also has a crush on the Veil as well. Roc is the most reserved member of the group mainly keeping to himself. His size prevents him from getting too close to others. The only exception is Pearl. Pearl is flamboyant and has a tendency to overwhelm others with his personality.In non-combat situations Five Pillars, relies on each member of the group to gathering a lot of intelligence. Iron Amir’s armor has a lots of sensors built into it. Saluqi and Roc have their incredible movement ability. Veil has the ability to track people with her mental abilities. With his ability to blend in with the crowds Pearl can track almost anyone without being seen. Once battle is started, Roc brings in the Veil, Pearl, and Saluqi before providing aerial support. Iron Amir engages the strongest of opponents, while Saluqi using his great speed distracts foes allowing Pearl and Veil to lay the opposition low. | |||||||

| Goals | |||||||
| Five Pillars was formed to protect the Arab world from extremists within and without the Middle East. This includes the terrorist activities of Fatwa, and to a lesser degree to combat the raise of the Assembly in the east. Another goal of Five Pillars is to present a more moderate image of Islam to the public. | |||||||
| Reputation | |||||||
| Five Pillars is well received by the common man in the Middle East. It is with the extremists, fundamentalist, and terrorists that Five Pillars is at odds. Also since Five Pillars isn’t a government sponsored group, the various governments in the Middle East are leery of their activities. Naturally Fatwa has denounced Five Pillars as an abomination. The Indian and the Iranian government have condemned Five Pillars as terrorists. | |||||||
