| Background |
“Ladies and Gentlemen,” said the ring announcer, “Are you ready for tonight’s main event?” The crowd roared with anticipation. “The Ultimate Uberworld Wrestling Confederation is proud to introduce the following main event bout. Coming down the ramp wearing black and hailing from parts unknown...The Foreigner!” Marching music with a communistic feel to it blared over the speakers in the auditorium. At the back of the auditorium the curtains parted and out goose stepped the Foreigner. He was huge. Muscles bulged underneath a black skintight costume that covered his entire body including his face. Only his eyes were visible and they glared at the crowd. Boos and jeers rang out from the crowd as the Foreigner headed for the ring. Along the way the Foreigner paused to threaten an audience member who was waving an American flag in front of him. In disgust, the Foreigner grabbed the flag and ran for the ring. Inside the ring the Foreigner threw the flag to the floor of the ring and proceeded to wipe his feet on the flag before kicking it to the side. The crowd went wild. Shouts and loud curses greeted the Foreigner's action. And then a hush fell over the crowd when the opening notes of “America the Beautiful” blared from the speaker. “And introducing the Foreigner's opponent. Major American!” Everyone stood as Major American came out form behind the curtain. He pointed an accusing finger at the Foreigner and shouted, “Bud, you shouldn’t have done that!” Like an express train Major American ran to the ring to punish the Foreigner for his sacrilege. As soon as he was in the ring the bell was rung and the fight was on. The Foreigner waited for Major American and chopped him across the chest as soon as he got into the ring. The blow stunned Major American in his tracks. Then the Foreigner grabbed Major American’s arm and flung him into the ropes. As Major American came slinging back from the ropes the Foreigner clotheslined him. Major American went down on his back with an incredible boom. The audience held their collective breaths. Their hero had fallen. The Foreigner wasted no time and rushed in and delivered several kicks to Major American's ribs and head. The crowd screamed in rage, calling upon the silent referee to intervene. Major American seemed to be out of it. The Foreigner sensed victory, bent down and picked up Major American and slung him across his shoulders. This was the Foreigner's closing move, a submission hold, the dreaded “Backbreaker.” The Foreigner put more and more pressure on Major American's back. Major American's arms dangled at his side. The referee came forward and raised his arm which drooped down. If the referee raised his arm two more times with the same result then the Foreigner would win by submission. Again the referee raised the arm and again it fell. However on the third attempt the arm didn’t fall, and Major American pointed to the sky as his body started to shake. Major American was getting his second wind. With a mighty heave of his body, Major American freed himself from the Foreigner's grasp. The Foreigner tired to punch Major American, but Major American blocked the blow. With a sweep of his massive leg, Major American floored the Foreigner. Keeping up the momentum Major American ran into the ropes and slingshot himself forward and smashed his elbow in to the back of the Foreigner. The crowd was back into the match and they roared their approval. With the Foreigner down, Major American picked him up and performed his signature submission move “Greetings from America,” by wrapping his immense arms around the Foreigner's waist and started squeezing. In the end it proved too much for the Foreigner, and when the referee pulled up his arm for the third time it didn’t rise. The bell rung, and the referee raised Major American's arm in victory. All the crowd were on their feet, except for three men wearing dark suits and sunglasses. However, they were smiling. They had their new face for Sanction, and that face was Major American. |
| Personality |
Major American bleeds red, white, and blue. Short of killing someone, there’s little that Major American won’t do for his country. For Major American it is America, right or wrong. Major American gives speeches on patriotism, entertains the troops, and acts as the face of Sanction. Fighting crime is just another part of what Major American does for his country. |
| Quote |
“Don’t forget to stay in school and say your pledge of allegiance everyday, kids.” |
| Powers |
Major American is a classic brick. He’s superhumanly strong, and resistant to almost any physical harm. Due to his training in wrestling, Major American has come up with a few of his own signature moves. His “Greetings from America” attack is basically a bearhug, but with his super strength most foes succumb easily. By slamming a fist into the ground, Major American produces shockwaves, which he calls his “Ringing the Liberty Bell” attack. Another attack is when Major American grabs a foe and throws him for miles. He calls this attack “From Sea to Shining Sea.” Finally by slamming his hands together, Major American creates a sonic boom which he calls “Rockets Red Glare”. |
| Appearance |
Major American is a large muscular man with a buzz cut. His costume consists of a blue leotard with a white star on the chest. In addition to his leotard, Major American wears red and white striped forearm guards and trunks. On his feet he wears boots similar to what he wore when he was a professional wrestler. |
