Dr Gregorovich was part of a team which discovered the rare element Argentium, which is an incredibly malleable deviation of silver, and which is also highly sensitive to magnetic fields.  The team of Russian scientists were researching the element, specifically on ways to bond the metal to a human to enhance the subject's strength and durability in combat situations.  There was an accident and the team found themselves targeted by the Argentium, and as it bored into their flesh screams could be heard throughout the military installation.  The government and the military were initially disappointed but when Gregorovich and two others survived the disaster their interest returned, especially considering the changes in all three subjects.  Gregorovich could now manipulate the Argentium which was in her body, bringing it out of her pores into a protective layer of metal around her body.  The metal was highly resistant and pliable.

Of the three survivors, Gregorovich was the one with the most impressive abilities and she was sent to Oktober just prior to the team's betrayal.  She was caught along with the defection and followed Apparatchik and the others into exile.  Since then she has had mixed feelings towards Oktober's goals, although she does agree that capitalism and the ideals of the West have failed the Russian people.

Since the accident, Gregorovich's body has fused with Argentium and seems to have replaced it entirely in some parts.  This fusion allows her to manipulate her body in ways which are beyond human, such as stretching herself and enhancing her physical strength to those of uberhuman levels.  Most incredibly though, is her ability to spawn Dolls, which she does by casting off globules of spent Argentium which join together in the form of featureless silver women.  These Dolls are able to move about independently and perform a variety of functions, but ultimately dissipate within five minutes.

Gregorovich is a youngish looking woman in her thirties.  She has a round face and wide hips, and wears a military-inspired uniform in a steel grey colour and dark navy pants.  She wears a slouch hat and a scarf, which she uses to conceal her identity in public.  Her skin is able to transform into Argentium which is a volatile silver colour, constantly moving like mercury.  She is able to manipulate her body into a variety of elongated shapes using this metallic form.  Her Dolls are featureless, completely covered in Argentium.
