Background

Somewhere in Siberia, ten years ago…

The biologicals thought they had captured 07-734, and imprisoned him in an underground laboratory. How little the biologicals understood him. The very sight of the organic creatures repulsed the machine doctor, and fascinated him as well; they were so ungainly, so unorderly.

True 07-734 was seriously damaged in the encounter with the biologicals that called themselves Oktober. Again and again 07-734 had underestimate the shear power of the biologicals. This called for further study on his part. So 07-734 bided his time, and while the biologicals studied him, the machine doctor studied them.

Unknown to the scientists, 07-734 had secretly modified some of the machines in the lab to help him in his studies. The biologicals are easily fooled. One of the biologicals interested the doctor. This biological which the machine doctor labeled as 02-489 in his data banks, seemed to understand machines better than the others. 02-489 seemed to have a special rapport with machines.

07-734 studied the biologicals for several months before becoming convinced of their inferiority. In a nano-second, 07-734 sent out a command signal to all the drones he had created to dispose of the biologicals. The machine doctors’ quest to rid this world of its biological plague had to continue; 07-734 had wasted enough time on the study of biologicals.

Doctor Dmitri Teslakov was a leading expert on robotics in the Soviet Union. He had been called to a remote top-secret military base in Siberia to look at a robot captured by Oktober. It was claimed by other scientists at the base that the robot was actually sentient. At first Doctor Telsakov was skeptical, until he met 07-734. He was astonished at the robot, which was clearly not of this Earth.

Several experiments were done on the robot, but the extraction of the technology was going to be a long process. The military was clamoring about using the robot as a basis of a mechanical army to destroy the Chinese or the Amercians. Doctor Telsakov wasn’t sure, but kept his opinions to himself.

It was on a moonless night when Doctor Telsakov had checked on 07-734. The doctor was exhausted from the long hours of his work, and didn’t notice that the robot wasn’t in the restraints where he should be. He rushed to the alarm, but 07-737 was even faster. Dmitri was lifted off the ground and brought face to face with 07-734.

In a mechanical voice 07-734 said, “Biological, I am afraid that your life cycle is about to end.”

07-734 slammed Dmitri down on the examination table and bent over him.

“Biological, you have studied me closely. I think the time has come for a more invasive study of biologicals is called for.”

Dmitri tried to scream, but it was all too late. 07-734’s arm came forward and needlelike fingers pierced his skin. Hundreds of millions of nano-mites swarmed into the doctor quickly spreading through out his entire system. The pain was horrific, but then that to passed. 07-734 stood back to study the reading from the minute robots.

“Fascinating,” said the robot doctor.

Then things went wrong. 07-734 was loosing control of the nano-mites. They were still active in the biological, but they were no longer following his commands.

“Most unusual,” said 07-734.

However, 07-734's observations had to end. Spetzna commandoes broke into the examination room guns ablaze. 07-734 was wounded, and the robot doctor felt that descretion was the better part of valor. Breaking through a wall, 07-734 fled with the commandoes hot on his trail. As for Dmitri, he was forgotten in the in confusion of the attack.

Later that night a nondescript man made his way out of the base. Doctor Teslakov was never heard from again and was presumed dead when 07-737 made his escape. However, it was after the fall of the Soviet Union that a new mysterious villain calling himself Mechanokov came to the public eye.

Personality

Mechanakov is a power hungry super-villain. He's determined to control the world. Of course this is to be a world ruled by machines. Mechanakov dislikes humans, which he refers to as biologicals, this being a left over command from 07-734. Oddly enough, Mechanakov still dislikes 07-737.

Mechanakov is also grandiose in his planning of world domination. He thinks that no mere biological could match wits with him nor defeat him. This at times has been his undoing. However, Mechanakov being a master villain always has plans within plans. The next master plan is just around the corner.

Powers

Mechanokov's body contain millions upon millions of nano-mites. These minuscule robots are constantly modifying Mechanokov’s body. All these robots act as a living armor for Mechanakov, maintain his biological functions, and even repair him when he is wounded. Only by destroying the nano-mites could Mechanakov actually be killed.

The nano-mites also generate huge amounts of energy. Mechanakov can project part of this energy in an electrical burst. He’s also able to project nano-mites out at a foe, causing the opponent to be torn apart cell by cell, or by shutting down certain parts of a foes brain. Against machines Mechanakov can take control by using the nano-mites, or even animate technology creating small deadly robots that follow his every command.

Naturally the nano-mites create a psychic barrier in Mechanakov preventing most mental attacks from affecting him. On the downside, all those nano-mites really pack on the weight to Mechanakov. He weights over 800 kg, which also counters some knock back.

Appearance

With the nano-mites in his system, Mechanokov can become almost anyone. In his more normal Telsakov shape, he appears to be like anyone else, but has a plastic look to him. However, he rarely keeps in his normal shape, prefering to take the appearance of people from history or modern day politicians.
