| Background |
The Witch King of Estonia was one of the world's most feared villains during the 1970s and 1980s: a thorn in the side of the Soviet Union as well as the countries of the West. At one point he succeeded in transforming Finland into an anachronistic society of warriors and wizards, something the Finnish people still feel a little uncomfortable about. During this time of power and influence, the Witch King also managed to produce a number of offspring, among them Eliisabet Truuvali: the daughter of a beautiful (yet dim) cleaning woman at a hotel in Tallinn. When the Witch King arrived to take Eliisabet under his wing at the age of ten, he found a drunken, self-abusing mother and a wide-eyed, gullible little girl. The Witch King took Eliisabet away to one of his dimensions where she was tutored by his minions as well as himself when the need arose. While Eliisabet managed to grasp the dark forces which were made available to her, she never quite got the hang of the supervillain business. While she wanted world domination as much as her father, she never quite had the attention span to accomplish it. She was impressed with the power she wielded but had no real restraint in its use.In short, Eliisabet was something of a disappointment for her father. When she was eighteen, she travelled to Earth and began to set herself up as a super villain, partly to impress her father and partly for the simple fun of it. She called herself the Witch Girl at first, but after successive defeats at the hands of the Brotherhood, she decided to change it to Porguneitsi, the Virgin of Hell, and embark upon a take over of Russian cities rather than those in the West. This career turned out to be more profitable than her previous one, not the least because there seemed to be less super heroes in Russia than in Germany and France, but she still had difficulty in achieving anything to make her father pleased with her. To this day she continues to seek out his approval but mostly only manages to get herself into embarrassing defeats at the hands of Russian Dawn or the Brotherhood. |
| Personality |
Eliisabet maintains that she is half-demon, when actually she is the daughter of an alcoholic hotel cleaner. She can be counted on to mention her father at every opportunity she is given, and portrays their relationship in a much more positive light than it is in reality. While she talks about their kingdoms in Hell where they rule side by side, in truth, the Witch King has not bothered to speak with her in years, although he maintains a close watch on her, probably to ensure she doesn't bring too much shame on him. Eliisabet is a screamer, and is likely to elicit high-pitched shrieks during combat, even if it is her opponents who are being injured. There is something a little odd about the girl, but it is this oddness which she so dearly holds on to.She desperately wants to be 'daddy's little girl' and the only way she can do this is to take over the world. |
| Quote |
"EEEEEEK!" or"My papa, the Witch King of Estonia, has bestowed upon little old me the devastating power of a thousand thousand nightmares... and do you know what I'm going to do with all that power? Ooh, a Versace bag... hang on a minute... a girl's got to shop." |
| Powers |
Porguneitsi is a sorceress born with the potent magical powers of her father. She has been tutored by demons and has a good understanding of magic, although she lacks the ability to use it beyond the flash and bangs of super villain tricks. In addition to her magic, which involves illusions, fire control and the ability to travel to the Hell Dimension; Porguneitsi also wields the powerful Staff of Vanatühi and two rings of power. In addition to her spells and her magic items, Eliisabet is also resistant to magic to a certain degree, thanks to her father's power. |
| Appearance |
Eliisabet is able to change her form but her most favoured image is that of the 'devil girl': dark red skin, horns and a devil's tale. Her magic allows her to take on the forms of this devil girl, as well as a more monstrous form with dark red scales, long red forked tongue and several sets of curled horns. She is also able to take the form of her father, although she is even scared of what she looks like in this form. Her normal appearance is less impressive. She has dark brown hair which she usually wears in two braided buns at the sides of her head, dull green eyes and a thin body which seems to be all angles. |
