The Rakshasa Gang is predominantly made up of Indian and Pakistani immigrants or second and third-generation Guyanans of West Asian descent. They are mostly drawn to Ghatotkacha because of his charisma and his reckless nature, although most of them are also believers in the West Asian Resistance Movement. The Gang spends most of its time at various headquarters across Georgetown and only engages in criminal activities when Ghatotkacha needs more money or has an itch that needs scratching. Their criminal activities are usually limited to armed robbery, muggings and some extortion.

Gang members are usually from poor families or from migrant families who may have been forced into exile by the actions of The Assembly. None of the members are particularly bloodthirsty or cruel. They are generally restless no-hopers who have come together under Ghatotkacha for a sense of family and accomplishment.

"Let's get some of that action!"

The Rakshasa Gang is not particularly adept at what it does. Rather than having highly trained or capable members, the Gang relies on its steady flow of members. The ones who are apprehended by police end up in prison, but their numbers are quickly replaced. Ghatotkacha has realised that leading a group of low skilled thugs is worthwhile when there is no one in the ranks to challenge for leadership and when there are plenty of more recruits eager to join.

Gang members usually wear street clothes, but are recognisable by a roaring tiger head on their bandanas. They are exclusively made up of young men from West Asian backgrounds and are usually aged between 15 and 22. They all carry knives and shun firearms. The knives are carried in various places on their bodies.
