| Background |
Not much is known about the woman code-named Tataiya - or Wasp. She worked her way through the ranks of the Intelligence Arm of the Indian Army, specialising in black ops. She was the agent sent to assassinate the Pakistani Minister for Defence just prior to The Assembly embarking upon their 'Liberation'. It was during this time that she fell out with the military, having turned whistle blower against three of her superiors. She was used by the government for political points and then reassigned to The Assembly where she reluctantly took on the role of co-leader with Fusion. She does not like the flashy egocentric world of the superheroes and has quite a jaded outlook. She is particularly cynical about Ganesh's plans of bringing about a return of the ancient gods. She thinks he is simply an ugly uber with a messiah complex. |

Tataiya keeps to herself, and has learned that a person's private life needs to be protected at all costs. She has lived the life of a spy, assassin and uniformed officer, and now finds herself in charge of a bunch of mostly young and inexperienced idealists. She is not happy about it, and tries to keep them at arm's length. She is a methodical planner and although she resents her current situation, especially her fall out with the military, she is planning a return to power. It just tight take some time. |

| Appearance |
Tataiya is over fifty years old but does not look it. Her hair is steel grey, but her body and fitness levels match those of a very athletic thirty year old. She wears a black armoured uniform with yellow highlights and a red wasp logo on her shoulder. She carries a high tech pistol which she calls her Sting. As a trained espionage agent, Tataiya is liable to change her clothing to suit her environment. |
