Tunguska exploded onto the world stage in 2000 after detonating the restaurant she had been working at for the past six years. She had had a really bad day serving ungrateful customers and fending off her boss' moves. She started exploding everything she saw, whether it be the hateful jukebox, the tarnished dishwasher, the broken toilet. She kept walking down the street blowing up the pizza shop, the fruit vendor and a row of expensive looking sports cars parked out the front of a nightclub. She blew up the nightclub as well.

When she had run out of fury she took a moment to reflect on what had happened. Sirens were wailing all around her and she thought that perhaps she had gone mad and some nice uniformed officer would shoot her and put her out of her misery. But the police wouldn't open fire.

In the end she got tired of waiting and flew away, moving fast enough to avoid the police helicopter which was scuttled after her.

She certainly had power.

And that was what had driven her to her fury in the first place. For six years she had been told she was no good except as eye candy and a dishwasher. Her boss had called her all kinds of horrible names and the clientele had been little better than cockroaches. The new power she had must have been a sign from above, and Tunguska decided she'd better heed that call and use her powers to make her life better.

When Seiche approached her a few months later he charmed her with honeyed words and made her feel like a woman again, rather than the freak who was terrorising Kiev. She followed him into Ruin and has enjoyed the company of her team mates as well as the platform for performing to her adoring fans. She takes time out to talk to magazines and radio talk shows, much to the chagrin of Seiche.

Tunguska has had a rough life, like many women in Ukraine, but when she discovered she possessed the power of a meteor storm she did what any sensible woman would do in her situation: she started to strike back at everything that made her miserable, starting with her job. She continues to hold on to the idea that she was given these powers so she wouldn't have to put up with crap from anyone anymore, and frequently launches meteor swarms to clear away the emotional debris that her life accumulates.

"One meteor shower for table number 12. You got it, luv."

Tunguska is a telekinetic, able to generate powerful blasts of force which she calls meteors. She can send swarms of telekinetic bolts at opponents or she can focus her energy and launch a truly devastating attack. In addition to the meteors, Tunguska can also project herself through the air, produce force fields and manipulate objects to a limited degree. She is also able to breathe underwater and is expected to live a long time.

Tunguska was a buxom blonde before she became an uberhuman, and now her hair has the habit of bursting into a corona of solar fire. Her eyes are orange and flare when she uses her powers, but she is able to assume a secret identity by wearing glasses or coloured contacts. As Tunguska she wears a light pink body suit with a white stripe down the left side, and has added a white owl mask to finish her outfit.
