| Background |
Thando Ndlovu always knew he was destined for greatness. When his was just a child, a sangoma read his future and told his parents that the blood of kings flowed through Thando’s veins. As Thando grew older the sangoma’s words rang true. Thando grew into big man, of immense stature. Thando even left the country to be educated in England. It was while in England that he first encountered the words of William Shakespeare. Thando was enchanted with the bard, and soon was taking acting courses at university in London. However, Thando still felt homesick for Africa, and after getting his degree in acting returned to South Africa.Back home, his natural elocution, and his physical presence quickly got him rolls in several major South African movies. While Thando didn’t get as rich as if he had gone to Hollywood, he did become a major African movie star.It was on the set of ‘Final Days’ that Thando became involved with Uberhumans. Firebird and Stealth had been fighting against a group of Sons of Set, when their running battle came across the movie set causing destruction left and right. Thando was outraged with the interruption of his close up.Jumping into the fray Thando was soon tossing soldiers left and right. Soon photographers showed up and were taking pictures like crazy. Firebird and Stealth seemed to be have been forgotten as Thando thrashed the soldiers. Once he realized that the cameras were still on him Thando proceeded to ham it up eventually pilling the fallen soldiers in a pyramid which Thando stood on . Firebird left in disgust. The same couldn’t be said for her brother.“Man that was great!” gushed Stealth.“Why thank you,” said Thando, “it was not much. Would you like my autograph?”“Um, thanks, but,” said Stealth, “should not you be using your powers to help Africa against its’ enemies?”Thandos’ agent Morty rushed out from the crowd, and said, “The boys got a point Thando. And if we play are cards right we can make a mint out of this.”Thando paused to ponder this for a moment before he spoke, “Are you sure about this Morty?”“Sure kid, sure, trust me. And I know how we will bill you kid. We will call you Zulu. How do you like that kid. Catchy isn't it?" |
| Personality |
Thando is an arrogant and conceited actor. He knows that he’s the greatest actor to come out of South Africa in a long time, and he’s always quick to remind everyone of this fact. His eloquence with words takes the point home. There are few people who met the standard of Thando Ndlovu, even the other members of Africa Force 3. This attitude doesn’t always make Thando very popular. He usually thinks everyone is in awe of his greatness. Because of his greatness Thando has always been confident, thinking that there’s nothing that he cannot do. Caution is a foreign word to Thando. He goes at things at a hundred ten percent, not letting details cloud the issues, because how could Thando Ndlovu, who has the blood of kings flowing in his veins, make a mistake. |
| Quote |
"You cannot stand against me for I have the Blood of Kings flowing in my veins." |
